Become uniquely involved
in the life of Little Rock Air Force Base! Enjoy making
new friends during your time at The Rock. The Little
Rock Spouses’ Club (LRSC) welcomes you to join our
organization which gathers military spouses of all
shapes and sizes together for fun and fellowship and
energizes our air base community by our service and
philanthropy. LRSC membership is open to any Enlisted,
Civilian, Officer, or Retiree spouse of all branches of
service with access to the air base.
To encourage social
interaction among our members we’ll have exciting and
creative monthly functions, special activities, such as
the LRSC Wednesday Morning Bowling League, and special
events, like Trivia Night (September 20th).
And, did I say F-U-N?!
We’re kicking off our new
year by going on Safari, August 21st at 6:30
pm at Hangar 1080. We welcome all spouses to this open
house event as it is our opportunity to meet new members
and tell about the many different activities that will
be offered this year.
Our two big philanthropic efforts, the
Thrift Shop and the Pot O’ Gold Auction for Education
have allowed us to distribute many thousands of dollars
to key LRAFB organizations, off-base organizations
serving military dependants, area schools, and
meritorious military spouses and children in the form of
academic scholarships. So, if you don’t already,
please shop and consign with the LRSC Thrift Shop
located at the BXtra shopping plaza (open Tuesday
through Thursday, 10am-3pm,) for your family’s needs
throughout your stay at LRAFB. And, too, set your
calendar to enjoy a bit of Blarney on March 13th
at the Pot O’ Gold Auction.
Join the many of us who
find creative outlet by volunteering in the LRSC Thrift
Shop, and/or by serving on the LRSC Board and
sub-committees. Although we may work and volunteer as
part-timers we never work in a part-way capacity! We are
military, retired and civilian spouses working with
dedication and professionalism in all we do.
